PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) device for appraising singing full of expressions close to the singing of the singer of the song more highly than mechanically singing as a melody by comparing singing data generated based on the singing of the singer of a playing song with the voice data of a user. SOLUTION: A CPU 13 obtains the singing data of the singer corresponding to a song number by data communication with a host computer 2 and stores them in a RAM 15. Then, song data corresponding to the song number are read from an external storage device 12 and KARAOKE playing is started. In an A/D converter 16, electric signals (analog signals) corresponding to the voice of the user inputted from a microphone 23 are sampled and converted to digital data. Then, the data are compared with the singing data of the singer read from the RAM 15 and the difference of the height is written in the RAM 15. After the KARAOKE playing is ended, the difference value is totaled, a grade point number is calculated based on the total and a graded result is displayed at a CRT 26 for prescribed time. |
