PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a node with a feature to be conspicuous in the hierarchy display of the node. SOLUTION: The parameters of the number N of hierarchies, an attribute name and a graph (node set and edge set) are inputted (step 11). The maximum value of an attribute value designated by the attribute name is set to be Max and a minimum value to be Min by setting the respective nodes as objects (step 12). (Max-Min)/(N-1) is set to be the width W of the hierarchy (step 13). A loop variable (i) is set to be zero (step 14). When the attribute value designated by the attribute name is not less than Min+i*W and under Min+(i+1)*W, the hierarchy to which the node belongs is set to be (i) (steps 15-17).
