PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by releasing a public control channel and executing a waiting operation only on a control channel when the repeating control channel of a repeater is established. SOLUTION: A radio telephone set (PS) 5 always monitors the establishment of the repeater-only repeater control channel. Specifically, a reception frequency is set to the reception frequency of the repeater control channel, whether synchronism is established or not is judged, and the public control channel of a public base station CS is independently released when the repeater control channel is established. Then, PS 5 transfers IC-ID stored in a CS-ID storage area in RAM to a repeater 4 as position registration information and executes the waiting operation only by the repeater control channel. Namely, PS 5 releases the public control channel and executes the waiting operation only by the repeater control channel when the repeater control channel is established. |
