<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve determination accuracy by arranging a vibration detecting means detecting a vibration of a seat, using a seat vibration signal obtained from the vibration detecting means so as to extract a vibration frequency constituent specific to a human body and that specific to a substance body by means of a plurality of filter means, and determine whether an object on the seat is a human body or a substance body. SOLUTION: A vibration detecting means 4 detecting a vibration on a seat 3 is arranged in the seat 3, while a plurality of filter means 51..., by which signals in respectively different frequency areas are taken out from the output signal from the vibration detecting means 4, are arranged. By means of a determining means 6 inputting the output signals from the filter means 51..., it is determined whether a person is seated on the seat 3 or not, and its determination signal is outputted to an apparatus connected to an external operating a machine action via an outputting means 7. The determining means 6 is constructed so that it discriminates between a substance body and a human body by using the fact that an output of the filter means taking out a vibration frequency constituent specific to a human body is greater than an output of the filter means taking out a vibration frequency constituent specific to a substance body.</p> |
