PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bending mirror with high shape precision and high face precision by providing an optical face which is supported by two supporting points and is made into a curved state by adding force from two application points positioned outside or inside of each supporting points. SOLUTION: Round bars 3 and 4 to be the supporting points for bending a plane mirror 1 at four points are fixed to the lower parts of the walls 2a and 2b of a base member 2 and an interval between the walls 2a and 2b is mechanically processed to make an interval between the supporting points 3 and 4 precisely L. Round bars to be operating points for adding force for bending the mirror 1 at four points are respectively arranged at positions at a distance of (a) from the respective supporting points 3 and 4. By constituting bending mechanism like this way, the mirror 1 is supported by the bars 3 and 4 as the supporting points and added with prescribed loads from the bars 5 and 9 as the operation points to be in the state of being elastically deformed to be a desired shape and its surface becomes a specified optical face 1a. |
