PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function efficiently multiplexing plural lights of narrow intervals between wavelengths and different wave length by providing a WDM coupler outputting a first multiplex signal light and an optical branching coupler outputting second multiplex light by multiplexing the first multiplex signal light and signal light excepting this multiplex signal light. SOLUTION: Eight signal light sources 101 to 108 are divided into the combinations of respectively four signal light sources 101, 103, 105, 107 and 102, 104, 106, 108 to be multiplexed respectively by the WDM couplers 21 and 22 and is inputted to an optical branching coupler 30 to be outputted to a single optical fiber. As output light from the respective couplers 21 and 22 are multiplexed by the coupler 30, it is possible to output wavelength multiplex light arranged in furthermore shorter wavelength intervals in gaps between the wavelength of the output light of one light source combination. Then the wavelength multiplexing light sources reduced in loss can be constituted as a whole. |
