PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of being made small in size, high in processing speed and high in reliability. SOLUTION: This card processor is provided with a magnetic head for reading out a magnetic track recorded on the magnetic card and also rewriting the information of the magnetic track, and a bar code head 20 provided together on the magnetic head. The bar code head 20 is provided with an erase core gap 21 for erasing a magnetic scratch undesirably generated on the magnetic bar code extended to the transporting direction of the magnetic card and a read-out core gap 23 for reading out the magnetic bar code after the magnetic scratch is erased. To increase the reliability of the read-out of magnetic data, the width of the erase core gap 21 is made wider than that of the read-out core gap. |
