PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and securely obtain information by inputting information specifying a part in a designated document, extracting a character string specified by inputted information and outputting the character string through a public line. SOLUTION: An inputted read part is hold in a read part holding part 207 by waiting for the designation input of the read part from a read part designation part 206 judging a command for designating the read part corresponding to a push key depressed by a telephone set 107. A read line extraction part 208 refers to the read part hold in the read part holding part 207, extracts a read line from the document kept in a document holding part 205 and holds the obtained read line in a read line holding part 209. A sound synthesis part 210 executes a sound synthesis processing by referring to the read line which is hold in the read line holding part 209, holding an obtained sound parameter in a sound parameter holding part 211 and a sound output part 212 outputs the character string through the public line.
