PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the contact parting speed quick independently of the operation speed of an operational member and prevent deterioration of durability due to deformation of the operational member by heat generation and contact consumption in a switch apparatus. SOLUTION: A spring 17 of this switch apparatus is provided with elasticity not only in the pushing and contacting direction but also in the stroke direction of a slider 11, which is an operational member, as to give a displaceable structure. Consequently, before a movable contact 16 is parted from a fixed contact, the contact 16 is displaced in the inverse direction to the stroke direction of the slider 11 and either immediate before or simultaneously with the parting, the displacement is released. The contact parting speed can be made high independently of the operation speed of the slider 11 and arc energy can be lowered. |
