PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a sacrificial anode which allows a rapid and easy mounting and replacing work of the sacrificial anode and surely preventing the inflow of an electrolyte into a through-hole formed at the sacrificial anode and a cap used for the same. SOLUTION: A metallic bolt 20 is welded to the surface of a metallic 1 to be protected and the top end side of the bolt 20 is inserted from one end side of a through-hole 10a formed at the sacrificial anode 10 into the through- hole 10a. A metallic nut 30 is then screwed onto the bolt 20, by which the bolt 20 is mounted at the sacrificial anode 10. A cap 60 is thereafter fitted into the through-hole 10a from the top end side of the through-hole 10a. As a result, the inflow of the electrolyte (sea water) into the through-hole 10a is prevented. As a result, a battery is not formed between the inside surface of the through-hole 10a and the bolt 20 and the nut 30 and the dissolution of the inside surface of the through-hole 10a is previously prevented. |
