PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor equipped with advantageous structure in improving a contact slide property of an abrasion resistant property among members with each other. SOLUTION: A suction passage 26, for introducing a refrigerant gas into a suction chamber 3a, is formed on a rear housing 3. A housing hole 13 is penetratedly provided on the center of a cylinder block 1 as a central housing, to slidably house a shutting off body 21 in the housing hole 13. Moreover in the housing hole 13, an energizing spring 24 is housed which is energizing the shutting off body 21 in a direction parting from the opening of the suction passage 26. The energizing spring 24 is a coil spring spirally formed into a nearly truncated cone-like outer shape, and is made so as to evade the contact sliding to the inner peripheral wall of the housing hole 13 in expanding/ contracting the coil spring. |
