METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING LEVEL OF BULK MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability in measurement values, by improving the workability at measurement, and specifying and defining measurement points at level surface of granule material. SOLUTION: A laser range finder 12 wherein, a level surface 18a of a granule material 18 irradiated with a visible light laser, a distance from the level surface is measured based on a phase-difference between the modulation signal of the irradiation light and the modulation signal of reflection light reflected on the level surface, is set at a specified position of an upper end opening 16a of a storage tank 16. The distance measured with the laser range finder 12 can be outputted to a distant output means 14.
