PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly polish a glass product such as a cathode-ray tube panel, and achieve compactness and simplicity of facilities. SOLUTION: Rotary tables 2 to support a cathode-ray tube panel 13 are rotatably disposed at plural positions on a support base 1. The support base 1 is intermittently rotated, so the rotary tables 2 fed in order to a panel 13 supply station S1 , two polishing stations S2 , S3 to polish the panel 13, and a takeout station S1 to take out the panel 13 after it is polished. Every time the rotary table 2 is transferred to the polishing stations S2 , S3 , a cylindrical rubber sleeve 3 disposed at the station is rotated, and the panel 13 is rotated by rotation driving of the rotary table 2 to polish the panel surface. |
