PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a desired three dimensional shape, on the rear surface of which a foam layer is formed, by a method wherein an expandable mixed liquid is applied on the rear surface of a carpet fiber composition and the inside surface of the lower mold of a forming press tool so as to bond both the surfaces together through a mold clamping. SOLUTION: An expandable mixed liquid is directly and nearly evenly applied to the coating surfaces of the lower mold 13 of a forming press tool 14 consisting of an upper mold 12 and the lower mold 13, on the insides of which a cavity corresponding to a three dimensional shape is dividingly formed. In this case, either a spraying system or a pouring system is properly selected depending upon the uneven shape of the lower mold, a spread, a spreading area or the like. After the finish of the gasification reaction of a carpet fiber composition 2 and the expandable mixed liquid applied on the lower mold 13 and before the finish of their viscous flow state, the carpet fiber composition 2 is arranged in the press tool 14 so as to close the tool in order to bond both the surfaces of the respective expandable mixed liquids together. |
