<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good range profile even for a moving target by functioning an A/D converter only when a sample ON signal outputted upon detecting the rise of video signal is inputted. SOLUTION: The reflection wave 10 of a target 9 received by an antenna 7 and outputted via a transmission reception switcher 6 is amplified with a receiver 11. A wave outputted by a transmission source 3 is phase-detected, converted into video signal and outputted to an A/D converter 12 and a sample timing controller 15. A controller 15 detects the rise of the input video signal and outputs sample ON signal after a preset timing. The converter 12 operates only when sample ON signal is inputted, which signal is sampled and quantized to convert to digital video signal and is recorded in a memory 13. An FET converter 14 discrete-Fourier-transformation the signal and outputs the range profile of the target 9. Thus, even if the target 9 moves and time between transmission and reception varies, a good range profile can be obtained.</p> |
