PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacture, and to use a barrier of high quality so as to simplify the manufacturing process, and to lower the cost by forming plural parallel grooves in a substrate or a layer provided in the substrate, and fixing barrier members, which are respectively formed of glass fiber, in these grooves in the condition that a part thereof is embedded. SOLUTION: One surface of a glass substrate 1 is formed with plural groove 2 in parallel with each other with equal space, and barrier members 3 made of glass fiber and having an elliptic cross section are vertically fixed in these grooves 2 in the condition that a part thereof is embedded. In this case, a glass fiber, which is composed of glass first or mixture of other inorganic power material and inorganic pigment, is used, and two or more kinds of component are mixed for use. After forming the grooves 2 in the glass substrate 1 or a layer on the glass substrate 1, the barrier members 3 are fixed by fitting the barrier members 3 in the grooves 2, and burning the whole thereof. |
