PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable drying to be achieved at relatively low temperatures to reduce drying and sterilizing times by incorporating a water-sealed vacuum pump into a device. SOLUTION: A can 21 is approximately cylindrical and has an opening on one side, and a closing lid 25 that can be hermetically closed is freely openably attached to the opening by use of a sealant. Water is fed into the can 21 from the bottom of a sterilizing water tank 29 via a feed water valve 28, and high- pressure steam is produced within the can 21 by transmitting electricity to an electric heater 27. After sterilization is carried out for a certain time, a vacuum pump 23 is operated and a vacuum valve 22 is opened to produce negative pressure within the can 21 to perform drying. |
