PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable termination box which is improved in workability for assembling, switching of connection, etc., and is capable of averting the influence on the optical transmission performance, etc., of optical fibers during the work by arranging and holding, in parallel, many pieces of the optical fibers to be withdrawn into plural cassettes. SOLUTION: This cable termination box 10 is constituted by arranging the inlets 13 for the optical fibers 2, 3 opened in plural sheets of the sheet-like cassettes 4 removably arrayed and housed to line up transversely in a cassette housing section 6 installed in a termination box body 5 toward a holder 11 for holding the optical fiber 2, 3 in an array state slightly apart from the cassette housing section 6. The optical fibers 2, 3 to be withdrawn into the respective cassettes 4 are arrayed and laid in parallel in the same array order as the array order of the cassettes 4 between the inlets 13 and the holder 11. As a result, the laying and taking out of the optical fibers 2, 3 are facilitated and the workability for switching the connection, etc., of the optical fibers 2, 3 is improved. |
