SOLUTION: A speech command input means 14 gathers a voice and generates a voice signal 14a. A command registering means 12 stores registered command information 11b. A recognition dictionary means 13 holds standard voice patterns for words as word discrimination information 13a. A voice command recognizing means 11 matches the word discrimination information against the voice signal 14a to select the word discrimination information 13a having the highest correlation out of pieces of word discrimination information 13a, and executes a recognition mode for generating voice code information 11a according to the selected information. A pointing control means 16 prompts the execution of the recognition mode and also analyzes the voice code information 11a to generate pointing information 16a controlling the cursor operation.
