PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance tightness between an active substance coating layer and a current collector of an electrode so as to improve cycle capacity maintaining characteristics of a battery in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, particularly, a lithium ion non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. SOLUTION: In a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode 2 having a positive electrode active substance coating layer formed on a positive electrode current collector 11, a negative electrode 1 having a negative electrode active substance coating layer formed on a negative electrode current collector 10, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, an undercoating layer is formed between the active substance coating layer and current collector of at least one of the positive and negative electrodes 2, 1 so as to enhance adhesion therebetween. |
