PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soil material which supplies, slowly, surely over a long term, an ingredient contained therein to soil on which plants grow by incorporating at least one substance selected from among fertilizers, agrochemicals, and natural extracts into a porous material. SOLUTION: This material comprises porous material (pref. comprising natural rock, still pref. shirasu) and at least one substance incorporated thereinto and selected from among fertilizers, agrochemicals, and natural extracts pref. obtd. from plants (e.g. wood vineager) and is produced by forcing at least one substance selected from among fertilizers, agrochemicals, and natural extracts into a porous material under pressure. For instance, when a base of a green 3 of a golf course is formed from shirasu 1 contg. wood vineager and turf mats 4 are placed thereon, then a growing base for turf is formed and wood vineager contained in shirasu is slowly supplied to the roots of the turf 4 with each rainfall, thus preventing the turf from being damaged by disease and harmful insects. |
