PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the evaporating sound or boiling sound of dew water or water in heat exchanging pipes upon evaporation by a method wherein hot- water pipes in a heat exchanger for warm water heating system are constituted so that the greater downward slope of them is increased as the pipes become apart from a combustion tube. SOLUTION: Water drops, condensed on the surface of a main heat exchanger 21, flow along heat exchanging pipes 21 and, thereafter, drop on the inner bottom surface at the side of the same apart from the combustion tube 16 since the heat exchanging pipes 21 are retained so as to be slanted down more steeply when they become apart from a combustion tube 16. The inner bottom surface at the side apart from the combustion tube 16 of the hot-water heat exchanger 20 will hardly receive heat from combustion tube 16 or radiation heat from a red hot body 15 and, accordingly, condensed water drops will not be evaporated instantaneously while generating big evaporating sound and will be evaporated slowly even when the condensed water drops fall on the inner bottom surface at the side apart from the combustion tube 16 of the hot-water heat exchanger 20. According to this method, the generation of big evaporating sound or boiling sound can be prevented. |
