Security system for transporting works of art, consisting of setting up a series of TV cameras inside the vehicle in question, and some lighting points that light up the interior suitably, the cameras being connected to a video which records the state of the cargo during the journey in question. A timer places in operation for preset time intervals, lights and cameras and a monitor within view of the guard over the freight, which displays the state of the cargo at any time, together with a manual switch for placing the system in operation whenever this is considered necessary. In the event of any possible alteration in the cargo, it is immediately possible to remedy it, and the client receives the video tape on which the proper state of the cargo can be observed throughout transport. <IMAGE>
