PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF AN ATTACHING TRACK FROM A NON-WOVEN FLEECE TRACK, AND A SYNTHETIC MATERIAL SHEET SIDE-COATING.

The present invention describes a process for the manufacture of an attaching track made from a non-woven fleece track of synthetic material filaments and/or synthetic material fibers from a thermoplastic synthetic material and a side- coating sheet made from a thermoplastic synthetic material. The non-woven fleece track has a temperature which remains considerably below the melting temperature of the synthetic material sheet. The non-woven fleece track is conveyed to the advancing zone of an attaching roller, which rotates at a speed corresponding to the pitch speed, and which has a width of at least the width of the non-woven fleece track. The synthetic material sheet is manufactured with the aid of a wide-groove nozzle from a cast of thermoplastic synthetic material, which is conveyed in a plastic state and contacted with the non-woven fleece track, which is disposed in the attaching roller. In that portion in which the synthetic material sheet in plastic state is brought into contact with the non-woven fleece track, the sheet is electrostatically loaded with the help of at least an electron spraying electrode, which transversally extends to the advancing direction. The attaching track thus formed is cooled in the attaching roller and/or after it exits the same.
