The present invention concerns to glycuronyl-arabinarates. The present invention also concerns to an obtaining process for these glycoronyl-arabinarates, which consists of: - during a first stage, proceeding to a starch hydrosylate oxidative alkali degradation, in order to obtain glycosyl-arabinonates, - during a second stage, proceeding to selective oxidation of whole or a part of primary alcohol functions from these glycosyl-arabinonates. Finally, The present invention concerns to glycoronyl-arabinarates utilization as builders, or co-builders in lye compositions formulation.
