Each coupling head of the device has a cable connection box, sliding in coupling direction. Each box (9) has a stop (10), which engages on the release lever (5) when in coupled position, and blocks an opening movement of the lever. In coupling position, the stop engages on the lever and on an abutment (14) of a coupling head (1), eg. the other head. The abutment is formed by a bracket (15), fastened to the head, and extending over the release lever. The stop engages into the free bracket opening (16).
