Transport device for suspended monorail train rake

The transport device has a train rake formed by the union of coupled sub-wagons (2,3). A rail section (6), which is shorter than the wheel base of the sub-wagons, is suspended from each sub-wagon to receive a vehicle. The rail sections are linked to one another and form a continuous rail track extending over the train rake. The links (7) between the track sections are each located over the link points of the sub-wagon union. At any one time, a connecting rail section (8) links both sides of the sub-wagons coupled by a rail section. The sub-wagons are linked together by coupling bars (4) that are resistant to traction and thrust. The sub-wagon coupling bars are connected to the wagons between the axles. Ballast weights are arranged between the sub-wagon axles.
