Brace for vehicle seat

The brace which holds the seat cushions together has profile strips (18) with connectors (20) at the end. These are connectable to at least one associated holder element (24) of the second cushion (28). The connectors form a hook (22) which hangs in the holder element. The hook runs at right angles to ridges in the cushions.
