The invention concerns a device for forming afterglowing signalling surfaces and comprises a profiled accommodating part (2) which is open on one side and into the recess of which a strip (5) of afterglowing material is introduced. The profiled accommodating part (2) can be designed such that a recess (33) for accommodating cables and LEDs is formed behind the strip (5).
