Drive chains are deposited and held in an elongated trough of roughly U-shaped cross-section incorporating vertical faces (10,11). The faces have combined projections or recesses (14,16) for push-fit supports on whose upper surface (18) rests the power-chain slip rail (20). The combined projection or recesses and (22) projections to the vertical descend from top to bottom. The slip rail angle of inclination alpha is preferably 45 degrees.
