Production of a leaf of a parabolic spring comprises raising original material to an austenising temperature, maintaining at this temperature and rolling to its final dimensions, hardening and tempering. The process includes: (a) heating to an austenisation temperature of 1,100/!100 deg C at a rate of 4-30 deg C/sec.; (b) reducing the temperature to a temperature of 1,050/!100 deg C at the first rolling stage with a rate of 10-30 deg C/sec.; (c) subjecting the blade to preliminary rolling with a variable forming degree of 15-80%; (d) reducing the temperature to a temperature of 880/!30 deg C at the second rolling stage with a rate of 10-30 deg C/sec.; and (e) rolling at the second stage with a constant forming degree between of 15-45%.
