Tile cutting device

The tile cutter has an adjusting and contact section (7), a scale (8), and a support rail section (1). A pair of stationary supports (2) stand vertically on the two end sections of the rail and the lower contact faces are level with the underside of the rail. A guide rail (3) runs above the support rail and is parallel to it, and a tile cutting component in the form of an operating lever (6) is movable on the guide rail and is equipped with a cutting element (4) and a sideways projecting tile pressure foot (5).
