Dilatation means (2) for floors, preferably hard floors consisting of a number of plates, boards, tiles or the like which constitute a flooring unit (1) or are assembled to a flooring unit (1), and one or more flooring units (1) make a floor. A dilatation means (2) is intended to be placed at an end of a flooring unit (1) or between two flooring units (1). The dilatation means (2) includes an anchor profile (3) and a cover profile (4), which cover profile (4) via a base part (5) is mounted in the anchor profile (3). The anchor profile (3) is in its turn being attached to an underlayer (10).
