Inside the vessel is a vertical pipe (5) with open top and closed base. A water jet pump (6) is located low inside the pipe, fed by cold incoming water (2). A novel feature is the resilient construction of the walls of the inner vessel (1). Preferably these are plastic, especially polypropylene. The tube (5) connects into an air-filled dome (4) at the top of the inner vessel.
