A process for preparing antibody molecules, characterized by transforming cells of blue-green algae with a carrier DNA containing an antibody heavy-chain gene and/or an antibody light-chain gene to separately or simultaneously express an antibody heavy-chain protein and an antibody light-chain protein with the cells, and associating the antibody heavy-chain protein with the antibody light-chain protein in vitro or in vivo. The process enables antibody molecules having a desired activity to be prepared with a high efficiency.
