<p>Polypeptides having the effects of accelerating morphogenesis of epithelial cells and proliferation thereof, more specifically a polypeptide specified by the N-terminal sequence of the 1st to 103rd amino acids of a human epimorphin and another polypeptide specified by the N-terminal sequence of the 1st to 104th amino acids of a mouse epimorphin; and medicines containing the same as the active ingredient. These polypeptides are water-soluble and useful as the active ingredients of medicines for treating or preventing diseases accompanied by abnormal morphogenesis, such as inflammatory diseases, burn or wound, and medicines for accelerating hair growth.</p> |
