The internal surface of the screen 2 has an organic photo conducting layer 4 onto which a second layer is formed and this has a black matrix 8 that is electrostatically charged using a corona discharge process. A perforated mask plate 12 is formed in front and light is transmitted from the source 16 to activate the blue, red and green components in the photo sensitive layer.
