Blade for circular saw

The circular saw blade is made from steel and has a toothed edge (12) and a central hole for a mounting flange of a saw machine. Between the toothed edge and the central hole is a circular vibration damping area (15), which extends over the whole thickness of the blade. The damping area is elastically deformable in both the tangential and radial directions and is located nearer towards the toothed edge than the central hole. The damping area has tangentially extending slots (14) in the blade which overlap each other partly in the radial direction.
