Key with two ended bit sliding in holder for operating locks

The key has a two ended bit made from a metal strip (2) which slides longitudinally in a holder (1). The bit can be slid by hand until it is halted by a stop (3). One key bit end at any one time can be slid to project out of the holder. The holder can be U-shaped or H-shaped in cross section. The side legs (5,6) of the holder can exert a slight spring force on the bit holding it in against unwanted ejection. The strip can have a projection (4) which is moved by hand to slide the bit. The holder can be made from a flat tube with a slot (13) between the walls (11,12) which are joined at the ends (14).
