Electric cable e.g.for audio engineering

An electric cable has three or more individually insulated wires. The wires are twisted together so that each wire in the axial direction is constantly changing its geometrical position relative to the others. The wires are solid ones and are assembled as multiple strands. Outward and return wires are formed from separate plaited strands and have their own screening as well as a common screen. The screen is connected at one terminal side to the necessary electric potential. Furthermore, the screen on both terminal sides is connected by electrical resistances to the necessary potentials. Individual plaited strands are used for different electrical purposes.
