TERMINAL CO-ORDINATION SYSTEM FOR AIRPORTS

In a terminal co-ordination system, the data required for the flight safety personnel to carry out their control activities, taking into account the flight schedule data for handling actual arrivals, departures and crossings, as well as all flight movements, are displayed on at least one monitor. The system is designed with a client-server technology. Servers (1) and clients (2) are interconnected by a LAN (6) (local area network) or WAN (wide area network). The disclosed system is designed as a multilayered system with a graphic interface. An object-oriented relational data bank which transmits to the monitor detailed time-related data is associated to a basic system based on flight schedule data and actual arrival, departure and radar information.
