Automatic analysis apparatus

An analysis apparatus has a system to pipette a fluid from one container (3,101,112) into a second container (106), using a pipette probe (6,105,110) with an electrode to register the fluid level in the first container. A monitor (114,115) measures the substance in the second container. A holder system (4,102,125), which is earthed, has the first containers (3,101,112). An electrical circuit registers changes in the electrostatic capacity between the pipette probe and the holder. A pair of discharge units face each other, where one of the pair is earthed. The pipette probe (6,105,110) is electrically connected to the other element of the pair, for the circuit to register the electrostatic capacity change. The pair of discharge units and the electrical circuit are in a printed circuit. The discharge units have facing points. An inductive connection is between the second discharge unit and the circuit. The holder has a transfer mechanism (102,125) to position the containers at the location where their fluid contents can be extracted.
