The system is provided to the vehicle axle (1) and has channels formed by the connection between a laminate support (3) and the brake lamellae (4), which by rotation of the support through the centrifugal acceleration of the cooling medium, forms a pump or feeding action. The system has a closed recirculation feature and the intake to the laminate support is in gastight arrangement and immersed in a cooling medium sump, so that a vacuum is built in the intake in order to suck the cooling medium from the sump. The intake may be formed as a dip pipe (16) connected to a bore (17) in a hub support (12).
