<p>A multiple input, dual output differential motor transmission device (141, 142) incorporates a sun gear device (12) having first and second sun gears (12a, 12b) fixedly connected to each other whereby the first and second sun gears (12a, 12b) rotate together along a common axis of rotation; first and second ring gear devices (20c, 20d) having first and second ring gears (20a, 20b), respectively; and first and second sets of planetary gears (21a-21f). The first set (21a-21c) is interengaged between the first sun (12a) and ring (20a) gears, while the second set (21d-21f) is interengaged between the second sun (12b) and ring (20b) gears. The first sun (12a) and ring (20a) gears are concentrically and independently rotatable relative to each other with the first set of planetary gears (21a-21c) inter-engaged therebetween. The second sun (12b) and ring (20b) gears are concentrically and independently rotatable relative to each other with the second set of planetary gears (21d-21f) interengaged therebetween. Rotation of at least one of the first and second sun gears (12a, 12b) together, the first ring gear (21a) and the second ring gear (21b) generates at least one of rotational and revolving movement of a corresponding one of the first (21a-21c) and second (21d-21f) sets of planetary gears.</p> |
