FIELD: medicine, pulmonology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with estimation of functional state of rennin-angiotensin-aldosterone system based upon measuring the level of angiotensin II, prediction of treatment is performed with the help of discriminant equation based upon measured value of angiotensin II. Due to radioimmunological method an initial level of angiotensin II is determined in ng/l, therapeutical efficiency is predicted by solving discriminant equation D = + 0.362 x angiotensin II, where D - discriminant function, boundary value of which is + 12.30. Availability of positive result of therapy is predicted at D > 12.30, and at D equal or less boundary value the absence of positive therapeutical result is predicted. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy at pulmonary hypertension by applying inhibitors as captopril in patients suffered with chronic nonspecific pulmonary diseases.
