(meth)acrylamidomethylene cpd. of formula: CH2=C(R1)CON(R2)CH2N(R3)COCH(R1)CH2-P-(=O)(R4)R5 (where R is H or CH3; R2 and R3 are H or together form a bridging gp. - and R4 and R5 are lower alkyl, alkenyl or alkoxy) and a cross-linkable cpd. contg. several double bonds are radical polymerised to form a flame-proofing resin finish on textiles esp. woven regenerated cellulose and needled felts such as carpets. The needled felts also have improved soiling resistance.</p> |
