METHOD FOR MAKING ONE-PIECE ROLLED RAILWAY ROAD WHEELS

FIELD: plastic metal working, namely technique for producing one-piece rolled railway road wheels. SUBSTANCE: in order to reduce scatter of diameter values of rough wheels by 2 and more times in condition of mass difference of wheel blanks up to 35 kg, thickness value of rough wheel blank is adjusted proportionally with mass of blank. At shaping stage thickness value is adjusted in inverse proportion with wheel mass due to changing speedup value. At rolling stage thickness is adjusted due to controlling gap between upper and lower edger rolls. As initial parameters for adjusting thickness of disc of rough wheel height of blank is used after upsetting said blank in floating sizing ring. Rim thickness is adjusted due to changing position of upper edger roll. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of wheel dimensions. 3 cl, 1 dwg
