摘要 FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes probing of flow of liquid passing over main line by ultrasonic pulses, reception of reflected signals, isolation of spectrum of Doppler frequency shift, determination of speed of flow by its characteristics and calculation of viscosity with the use of value of speed. In this case main line is pinched upstream and downstream of probing point and speed of flow is measured at moment of transition from laminar to turbulent flow that is determined by spectrum of Doppler frequency shift. EFFECT: measurement of viscosity of liquid medium with minimal action on composition of flow without removal of medium from circulation system.
