FIELD: opencast mining, applicable in blasting operations by deep-hole charges of explosives. SUBSTANCE: in the known method of forming of deep-hole charge including placement of the main explosive charge in deep- hole, initiation means, tamping of loose material locking the charge in tamping and forming of an air gap between the main explosive charge and tamping, and additional air gap is formed under the locking explosive charge and lower part of the tamping, whose height equals 0.5 to 1.0 of the locking charge height, and the height of the tamping lower part is 2-3 times less than that of the upper part.
