Redundant front suspension for a turbo engine

The suspension, comprises a base support (4) fixed to the pylon (2) and connected to an intermediate engine housing, incorporates an auxiliary system which operates only in the event of main suspension failure. The auxiliary system comprises a first support (20) fixed to the pylon (2) and equipped with vertical fastening (30) and a horizontal plate (21), and a second support (40) fixed to the intermediate engine housing and having a vertical plate and a peg (45). The vertical fastening (30) comprises two lugs which fit on either side of the vertical plate on the second support and are bolted to it with a clearance, while the peg (45) on the second support projects through a hole (22) in the forward end of the first support's horizontal plate.
